We gave each of our top 10 systems an overall help and support rating based on the warranty they offer and the types and availability of support.
Surprisingly, Cisco Business Edition 6000 only has a one-year warranty, but it still performs well with a robust support system that includes 24/7 service, live chat, self-help videos and a company blog, as well as the standard telephone and email contact options. The ESI only offers 24-hour live chat on weekdays, but it does offer an outstanding five-year warranty, which is significantly longer than the remainder of our lineup. The Toshiba Strata CIX business phone system and AT&T Synapse both offer a two-year warranty. The remainder of our lineup all offer a one-year warranty, apart from Vonage Business Solutions which doesn't offer a warranty at all and states that its services are provided as is. All tested business phone systems, except Avaya IP Office, provide self-help or instructional videos, but only six systems, including the Top Ten Reviews Gold and Silver Award winners, offer live chat.
